Over the past three hours, Toyota has spent nearly $3 million on R&D.

Therefore, considering that Toyota started their in-house hydrogen fuel cell program way back in 1992, it should not be a surprise that the company plans on bringing an “affordable” hydrogen fuel cell vehicle to market by 2015.
